The Open edX team organizes on December 14th its Open edX community event. A relaxed, informal and fun event where people from the e-learning and Open edX community get together to meet, share knowledge and learn from experts. A unique opportunity to get together with all edtech professionals and catch up on the latest trends in e-learning, technology, online education…
The event will take place from 3 to 6pm (CET), it’s online and free, and will take place on the gather.town platform, a different and unique platform where you can have your own avatar to meet other attendees and join the talks that interest you the most. There’s quite a variety of talks that will be divided into two tracks: business and technical. Speakers from Edly, Abstract technology, Graspway, freelancers… will talk about the challenges and trends in the edtech sector, as well as projects and experiences with the Open edX platform.
Our colleague, Javier Viñuales, Online Learning Expert at Graspway, will give a talk at the event in the technical track from 5 to 5:40pm (CET) about Data and AI applied to eLearning. He will talk about the importance of integration, APIs, trends in AI, e-learning, Machine Learning, bots and blockchain, about the current challenges we face and much more!
